360 Reality Audio is a new music experience with Sony's 360 Spatial Sound technology. Sounds such as vocals, choir, piano, guitar, bass and even the live audience can be inserted into a spherical 360° sound field. Music has never been as impressive and authentic as with 360 Reality Audio. Selected Denon AV receivers support the playback of 360 Reality Audio. The AVR-X2800H supports the latest HDMI technologies. Thanks to ARC (Audio Return Channel) and eARC (Enhanced Audio Return Channel) on one output, you can easily play back the TV sound via your AV receiver - all you need is an HDMI cable. eARC enables the transmission of HD and 3D audio formats such as Dolby TrueHD, DTS HD Master Audio and Dolby Atmos. ARC, on the other hand, is limited to conventional 5.1-channel audio formats and PCM.

Experience excellent 8K picture quality on your 8K TV or projector. The AVR-X2800H supports both 8K passthrough (on 3 inputs) and 8K upscaling of 4K content. Thanks to the latest HDCP 2.3 copy protection standard, copy-protected content can also be played without restriction.

In addition to HDR (High Dynamic Range), HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma) and Dynamic HDR, the AV amplifier also supports HDR10+. HLG enables the display of TV programs in HDR quality. Both Dynamic HDR and HDR10+ use dynamic metadata to optimize dark and bright image areas scene by scene.

The AVC-X3800H makes it possible to play Dolby Vision content from compatible source and TV sets. Dolby Vision HDR technology delivers amazing brightness and stunning color and contrast.

The AV amplifier supports Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), Quick Frame Transport (QFT) and Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM), ensuring smooth, lag-free gaming experiences with compatible gaming consoles.

Thanks to HEOS® Built-in, the AV amplifier is able to wirelessly stream songs from numerous free and paid music services to HEOS Built-in components. You also have the option of enjoying your favorite music wirelessly in any room. You can either play the same track everywhere or choose a different song for each room. Simply equip several rooms with Denon Home speakers and control the entire system via the HEOS app.

Discover the mesmerizing sound quality of high-resolution audio files and experience music as the artist intended. The front USB input supports playback of Hi-Res audio files up to 24-bit/192 kHz in MP3, WMA, WAV, MPEG-4/AAC, FLAC and ALAC formats from a USB drive.

The award-winning Denon installation wizard makes setup a breeze. Simply connect your AV amplifier to your TV and follow the instructions on the TV screen to connect your speakers and source devices and take speaker measurements. The AVC-X3800H automatically renames the HDMI inputs as soon as a source is connected. Manual renaming is also possible.

The Audyssey MultEQ Editor app, which is available for a fee, offers users the opportunity to take a look "under the hood" and fine-tune their audio settings. This allows them to adjust the sound even more precisely to the specific room conditions and their personal preferences. With this comprehensive app, you can use the possibilities of Audyssey MultEQ XT32 and take full control over the sound of your home theater. The app is available in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

The AVC-X3800H offers more than 9-channel amplification. With an external amplifier such as the PMA-1700NE, which can be assigned to the two front speakers, for example, you can operate an 11-channel speaker configuration for 7.1.4 - for even more flexibility and a room-filling audio experience.

Be mesmerized by smooth, precise bass. Four subwoofer outputs ensure even bass response and improved sound dispersion. The result is powerful, room-filling bass without audible peaks or dips. If more than two subwoofers are connected, you can adjust the subwoofer settings to suit your preferences. For an evenly distributed bass performance, select "Standard". The "Directional" option ensures that the speaker closest to the subwoofer in the room receives more bass support from the respective subwoofer.

Thanks to the latest HDMI connections, your Denon AV amplifier can also function as an AV preamplifier. In preamplifier mode, all internal output stages are switched off. This ensures a clearer signal path and greater tolerance to clipping. You can also deactivate individual speaker channels and use the device's integrated power amplifiers for other channels. This provides a sonic advantage for the channels that are driven by an external amplifier.

The interaction between your sound system and the room conditions has an enormous influence on the sound quality. Dirac Live® Room Correction (available from 2023) uses state-of-the-art, patented algorithms to analyze and digitally reduce room influences and improve speaker performance.
