Straightforward, with a clear display, simple operation and the typical Casio, almost indestructible resin case, the W-800H-1AVES from the Casio Collection Men series is one of Casio's all-time favorites. The synthetic resin of the case, which is also used for the bracelet with pin buckle, is uncomplicated and light; it is neither affected by heat and cold nor by rain. And the watch is water-resistant anyway: with its super robust and shatterproof acrylic glass dial, the watch has been assessed in accordance with ISO 22810 standards and is water-resistant to 10 bar. This means that not only is rain no problem, but the watch can even be used when swimming or snorkeling. The LED light ensures that the display remains clear even when the watch is wet or in the dark. Simply press a button to activate the LED and illuminate the dial.

Both the calendar and the time only need to be set once in order to continuously display the correct date, day and time. Two formats can be selected for the time: the 12 or 24-hour format. A second local time can also be set. Those who need to keep an eye on the international time or generally want to be reminded of appointments can select various alarms: There is a daily alarm that always emits a signal at the same time. There is also a date alarm that reminds you of important meetings or birthdays, for example. A monthly alarm can also be set, which always rings on the same day of the month, and finally there is an alarm for every day of a particular month. The stopwatch function is of course important for sports enthusiasts. The Casio watch displays times to an accuracy of 1/100 and can record times of up to 24 hours. The elapsed time, split time and end time can be measured and displayed. With a battery life of 10 years, the battery is a long-lasting companion; new, energy-saving electronics make it possible for the watch to run reliably for many years.
