An interesting feature is that the case of the watch has been given anti-magnetic properties, meaning that the watch is shielded from magnetic fields thanks to its material.

The clearly structured, tactile controls make it possible to operate the watch in fractions of a second. The dark dial is illuminated with a slight turn of the wrist; the movement activates the light-emitting diode and enables a quick glance at the time and digital information even in the dark, in bright sunlight or in water. As a stopwatch, the Casio GA-100-1A1ER can measure the time even more accurately than most other digital watches: The stopwatch is accurate to 1/1000 of a second and can record the time for up to 100 hours. With a display of the elapsed time, split time and end time, a lot of data can be recorded and long distance runs or activities in particular can be recorded well. The average speed for a distance covered can also be recorded here. Simply enter the planned distance at the start of the activity and then measure the actual time by starting and stopping the stopwatch. In this way, the watch simply calculates the speed for a running time of up to 100 hours.

The timer can be set to run for up to 24 hours and ends with an alarm signal. Once the time has elapsed, it can be restarted at the set time. Five daily alarms can be programmed to remind you of recurring events. So no more missed appointments. There is also a snooze function, after which the signal sounds again.
