The EOS C100 has many technical features that support especially filmmakers no extra crew ideal. The imaging system of the C100 works with the popular AVCHD codec. A new Wide Dynamic Range gamma setting is suitable for shooting in challenging, high-contrast situations. The camera achieves a large dynamic range of up to 800 percent, which makes possible an extensive color grading in post-production. Canon Log Gamma sustains a large exposure latitude and a large dynamic range, which ensures a constant consistent film quality in multi-camera use with other Cinema EOS.
