As the name suggests, the straps of the lightweight ASP Tri-Fold disposable rescue vest can be folded in three places to store them ultra-compactly on a belt or vest. When deployed, they provide wide, open loops for quick and easy application. They are perfect for crowd control, military use, air security, and other situations where traditional handcuffs are not practical or desirable. The triple-folded straps are extra wide, have smooth edges for safety, and run through a fully enclosed ratchet block with a washer guard that prevents tearing. The strap can be quickly and securely tightened using the included pull ring or the optional extra-long pull cord. After tightening, compressing the secondary compression locking buttons provides additional security. Once applied, the Tri-Folds must be cut off - for quick and safe removal, our optional Scarab Cutter is recommended.

The latest generation of Tri-Folds features a new polymer formulation - perfected after over a hundred prototypes - that does not dry out or become brittle, giving them greater strength and longer durability. Tri-Folds are available in black or yellow, as well as a red training version that can be repeatedly applied and removed without needing to be cut.
