There may be food processors with higher power consumption, but the decisive factor is the effect. The Ankarsrum's 1,500 watt motor is so energy-efficient that the power is transferred directly to the food being cooked or baked. The Ankarsrum can do what hardly any other food processor can: process up to 5 kilos of dough.

- Handmade in Sweden. The Ankarsrum Assistent Original is manufactured and assembled by hand in the well-known industrial town of Ankarsrum in Småland. The food processor is particularly robust. Each machine is individually tested before leaving the factory.

- The first food processor produced in Sweden, the Ankarsrum Assistent Original was first launched in 1940. Over the years, the machine has been equipped with a more powerful motor, infinitely variable speed control and overload protection, which have contributed to increased performance and improved safety.

- Nine functions make kitchen work easier. With its 18-piece accessory set, the machine can be used for stirring, mixing, kneading and pureeing, as well as for grinding, grating, sausage stuffing and straining. Today's food processor models are compatible with older models. This also means that new accessories are compatible with older models of the Ankarsrum Assistent Original and vice versa.

- More scope compared to competitor products. As the mixing bowl has a capacity of 7 liters, up to 5 kg of dough can be made in one step. The bowl is mounted above the motor and gearbox so that the bowl itself rotates instead of the attachment (e.g. a beater), as is usual with other food processors. This type of design allows for more effective and powerful use of the motor and also makes kitchen work easier, as the ingredients are easier to pour in from above.

- Style. The characteristic streamlined design is as popular today as it was in the 1950s. It was designed by engineer Alvar Lenning. Over time, the cream-colored original was expanded to include numerous color variations. Today, the Ankarsrum Assistent Original is available in numerous colors.
