No matter how you want to start your day - with the new alarm clock DR 455, getting up is always a success! Whether it's news, a morning show, or music... the alarm clock offers a huge variety of music to greet the new day in a good mood. You can choose between noise-free DAB+ or traditional FM radio reception. 
 
For an undisturbed sleep, the display can of course be dimmed or completely turned off. With the integrated crescendo function, the alarm volume gradually increases, and with the snooze function, you can delay getting up for a few more minutes. The snooze button is slightly raised and can be easily felt by the user even in the dark. 
 
The radio already has the latest ASA* alert technology integrated: the warning system “Automatic Safety Alert (ASA) protects the population in emergencies and crises with reliable safety messages on the radio. Listeners benefit from a system that keeps them informed even when mobile or internet connections are interrupted. ASA* operates automatically in the background and can be regionally adjusted for the place of residence. In the event of a disaster, warning messages are transmitted by radio stations. If the radio receives a warning message in the background, it automatically switches the station. If the radio is turned off and in standby mode, it even turns on automatically, so you never miss an important warning message.
