Puzzle with 2000 pieces in the format 98 x 75 cm. Cows by the artist Irene Hofstetter.
She brings the cattle show to New York's Times Square, lets goats graze in the city park or pigs wallow on the sandy beach. Irene Hofstetter - the young artist who also captured our "Ku(h)scheln" on canvas - is a completely unconventional peasant painter. Instead of mountain ranges, she paints Appenzell Alpine depictions in front of American skylines.
Instead of on paper, the animal scenes are created on solid wood boards or jute fabric. Irene Hofstetter works on a picture for up to one hundred hours until everything is perfect and coherent. In the meantime, she has enough time to think up stories for the animals she draws. This is also how she wrote and illustrated the children's book about Laura the goat, whose surprising details also make many adults smile."
