SISTA Bathroom Sanitary Silicone is a one-component, acid-curing silicone of reliable professional quality for durable and flexible seals in the sanitary area. The product is suitable for joints around bathtubs, sinks, shower cabins, toilet areas, as well as on tiles, ceramics, glass, and glazed surfaces, and can be used equally for all color variants. The mold-resistant formulation supports hygienic joints under permanent moisture exposure and provides a smooth, glossy appearance. The sanitary silicone is waterproof, UV and aging resistant, and adheres securely to glass, ceramics, and anodized aluminum without the need for a primer. The skin formation time is approximately 15 minutes at +23 °C and 50% relative humidity, with curing occurring at about 2 mm per day. After curing, the material achieves a Shore A hardness of approximately 20, a movement capability of 12.5%, and a temperature resistance of -30 to +120 °C. Its good resistance to conventional cleaning agents and many chemicals supports a long lifespan and makes it ideal for new installations as well as renovation work in bathrooms and kitchens.
