SISTA Bathroom Sanitary Silicone is a one-component, acid-curing silicone in reliable professional quality for durable and elastic seals in the sanitary area. The product is suitable for joints around bathtubs, sinks, shower cabins, toilet areas, as well as on tiles, ceramics, glass, and glazed surfaces, and can be used equally for all color variants. The mold-resistant formulation supports hygienic joints under permanent moisture exposure and provides a smooth, shiny appearance. The sanitary silicone is waterproof, UV- and aging-resistant, and adheres securely to glass, ceramics, and anodized aluminum even without a primer. The skin formation time is approximately 15 minutes at +23 °C and 50% relative humidity, and curing occurs at about 2 mm per day. After curing, the material achieves a Shore A hardness of about 20, a movement capability of 12.5%, and a temperature resistance of -30 to +120 °C. Its good resistance to conventional cleaning agents and many chemicals supports a long lifespan and is ideal for new installations as well as renovation work in bathrooms and kitchens.
