The A-S201 from Yamaha is a full-power amplifier with an output power of 2x 100 watts, which can operate up to two stereo speaker pairs simultaneously. The transformers positioned close to the amplifier circuits minimize power losses while at the same time increasing the maximum reserves for high volume reproduction. Signal processing and power supply are grounded at the same point to avoid interference and achieve a higher signal-to-noise ratio. The result is a transparent and brilliant sound.

The "Pure Direct" circuit allows circuits to be bridged, such as tone control, to allow the shortest signal path from the input to the amplifier and to reproduce the signal as unaltered as possible.
