The 2-piece guide rail FKS 145 is not only suitable for mains-powered circular handsaws, but also for battery-powered circular handsaws with a small base plate. The guide rail can be used with commercially available circular handsaws with a cutting depth of 40?70 mm, a saw blade diameter of 130?200 mm and a base plate with dimensions of min. 78 x 210 mm to max. 256 x 385 mm. 2 sponge rubber strips on the underside of the aluminum rail ensure non-slip contact with your workpiece and the two accompanying clamps with protective caps ensure that the rail is held firmly in place without damaging the surface. Straight and long cuts as well as mitre cuts through longer workpieces are effortless, even in areas far from the edge. The rubber lip reduces the risk of tears and also marks the cutting edge. The protective hood of the portable circular saw is automatically opened and closed when the saw is extended and retracted thanks to the corresponding notches on the rail. The guide carriage can be optimally adjusted to the rail using three adjusting screws. You can also align the portable circular saw quickly and easily on the guide carriage of the rail. The integrated alignment aid on the guide carriage helps you to set the correct distance between the saw blade and the guide rail - there is no need for a folding rule. The FKS 145 can be split in the middle and can be securely joined together using 2 connectors. With both parts together, you can achieve a cutting length of 110 cm ? one part is sufficient for a cutting length of up to 55 cm.
