A winter fleece helps to protect potted plants, (young) trees and shrubs in the garden from frost and wind during the cold season. In late fall, just before winter arrives, it is important to wrap the plants well. Branches and bulky plants can be tied together with a cord, such as Windhager's coconut tree tie, before wrapping them in winter fleece. Wrapping with the winter fleece is then quick and easy. Make sure that the entire plant is covered and that no branches or leaves are visible. For optimum protection, the fleece should be wrapped around the entire plant several times. Then secure the winter fleece with a binding cord, for example, so that the plants remain reliably protected throughout the winter. You can also find suitable tying accessories in the Windhager range. For potted plants, the pot should also be protected. This can be done quickly and easily with a Windhager pot protector. For plants that are well protected all round, you can also place the plant pot on an insulating pot base.
