The hygiene agent for the Venta air washers fulfills two main functions: On the one hand, it changes the water hardness so that no incrustations can occur due to calcium deposits. Blossom sediment can be removed every 10 to 14 days by simply rinsing. On the other hand, the hygiene agent supports the evaporation process by preventing the water from beading off of the plastic and thus ensuring complete wetting of the plate stacks.

The ingredients of the Venta Hygiene Agent do not evaporate. They remain in the unit until they are poured out during cleaning. Only fresh water needs to be added daily.
