Value LANtest Multi-Network Cable & PoE Tester

Through testing of 8-pin data cables with attached RJ-45 connectors and coaxial cables with BNC connectors

• The device detects open and short-circuited (wire/wire or wire/shield) connections
• A two-line display (LEDs) sequentially shows which pin of the RJ-45 connector from cable end A is connected to which pin of the RJ-45 connector from cable end B; manual or automatic switching is possible. In case of a short circuit, more than two LEDs light up simultaneously
• The device has two RJ-45 sockets (e.g., for testing patch cables); with the included remote unit, cables installed in walls can also be tested
• For testing coaxial cables, two adapter cables (BNC/RJ-45) are included
• Battery for the testing device: 1x 9V block (not included)
• With the included PoE check, it can be tested whether PoE is present on a twisted pair line and which PoE mode (A = Endspan / B = Midspan) is applicable

Attention: Do not connect the cable tester to devices in operation
