Installers and integrators can save on device costs and reduce installation time with TRENDnet's Gigabit PoE+ Smart Surveillance Switches by delivering up to 30W of PoE power and data per port over existing Ethernet cables. Available PoE port controls include enabling and disabling PoE, PD Alive Check, and power scheduling. PD Alive Check is an automated PoE switch feature that attempts to recover a non-responsive PoE device connected to the switch. If a PoE device, such as a PoE camera, stops responding to pings, the ONVIF-compatible switch automatically reboots the PoE port to restore the device.
These PoE+ ONVIF switches feature a 4-digit LED display that shows total PoE power, available power, and power per port. They also support PoE+ networks over long distances up to 200m with speeds of up to 10MB/s. TRENDnet's Gigabit PoE+ Smart Surveillance Switches also include SFP slots to support fiber network applications over long distances.
