The remote control operates using a rolling code system. The encoding is therefore highly secure. The radio signal varies according to a specific rule (algorithm). The transmission range is approximately 35m and can even be operated from outside the vehicle. Adverse weather conditions such as rain or snow can affect the transmission range. Steel, concrete, walls, or trees can also limit the transmission range of a remote control or garage door opener.
