Tilta Pro Kit for Blackmagic PYXIS 6K

With the Pro Kit for the Blackmagic PYXIS 6K, you can fully unleash the potential of your PYXIS 6K. It provides protection for the camera body and includes accessories that enhance the functionality of the PYXIS 6K in a video production environment.

The modular design with versatile components allows for customization to meet your needs. The cage has multiple contact points to prevent slipping. It offers the following mounting options: Arri rosette, NATO rail, cold shoe, 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads, both with mounting points.

The side plate supports quick switching between horizontal and vertical setups, as it can be used as a base plate in vertical mounting and provides ample space between the rods and the lens for most accessories. In this vertical configuration, the base plate is equipped with specially positioned threads to align the base plate with the optical center of the lens.

The side plate can also accommodate SSD drives with a width of 52 mm to 60 mm and a thickness of less than 12 mm. Additionally, there are several 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads available for various accessories.

Both the top and bottom plates are designed to avoid touching the heat dissipation openings of the housing, thus not affecting the camera's cooling performance. The top plate is compatible with the original PYXIS top handle and additionally features a removable adapter with 3/8" to 1/4" thread, allowing the user to choose between different top handles.

The Xeno top handle connects to the top plate via a NATO rail. It improves handling and usability with a sleek design that offers more space. This handle provides multiple mounting options for additional accessories, such as 1/4"-20 threads and a cold shoe connection, which is ideal for mounting an external monitor.

The included 15 mm LWS base plate and two 15 mm rods allow for the mounting of rod-based accessories, such as matte boxes or follow-focus systems. At the bottom of the base plate, there is a Tilta standard dovetail mount that can accommodate Arri standard dovetails when using the Tilta standard to Arri standard multi-functional baseplate.
The battery plate easily installs and locks into the battery compartment of the PYXIS to power the camera and can be secured to the top plate with a thumb screw. It features the following connections: 2x 14.8V D-Tap, 1x 14.8V 2 Pin Lemo, 1x USB-C, and a DC power input.
