Tilta Basic Kit for BMCC 6K

With the Basic Kit for the Blackmagic Cinema Camera 6K, you can fully harness the potential of your BMCC 6K. It provides protection for the camera body and includes accessories that enhance the functionality of the BMCC 6K in a video production or photography environment.

This updated version features a Top Plate that perfectly aligns with the 1/4″-20 thread on the top of the camera body, while it has a two-screw connection on the bottom that offers an incredibly secure three-point contact.

The cage has multiple 1/4″-20 threads with locating pins, cold shoe mounts, an ARRI-compatible rosette, and a NATO rail, while being impressively modular, as the right arm module can be removed to create a half cage.

The base plate offers multiple 1/4″-20 mounting points for attaching the camera to various quick-release plates and is compatible with the ARCA receiver of the DJI RS3 Pro. When using the half cage, the base plate can be extended to accommodate the Black Magic Design Battery Grip and includes a 15mm rod holder to use rod-based accessories in the correct LWS orientation with the battery grip.

The included Xeno Top Handle is attached to the cage with a 1/4″-20 screw with locating pins and features a silicone-padded grip that makes handling more comfortable and provides numerous mounting points for additional accessories such as a cold shoe mount, 1/4″-20, and 3/8″-16 threads.

The included 90-degree HDMI adapter is mounted on the cage near the HDMI port and provides a secure connection that limits wear on the port. The kit also includes an SSD drive holder that is attached with a 1/4″-20 screw and a locating pin, allowing the user to attach a Samsung T5 SSD drive for external recordings.

The BMD EVF does not fully extend out of the top plate of the cage. Please proceed with caution to avoid damaging the EVF.
