Tilta Base Kit for Sony FX5 (TA-T108-A-TG)

The Full Cage was specifically designed for the Sony FX5 and features three contact points for a stable, twist-free connection. By removing two screws on the bottom and the bracket on the grip side, the cage can be converted into a lighter Half Cage. This allows flexible switching between both configurations depending on the setup.

The Full Cage offers numerous mounting options for accessories, including 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads with positioning points, a cold shoe mount, a NATO rail for top handles, as well as attachment points for a single rod holder.

The separate top plate features a NATO rail and additional 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads for flexible accessory mounting. At the same time, the original XLR handle of the camera remains usable.

The bidirectional ARCA bottom plate can be slid in from both directions and enables quick switches between tripod and gimbal. A DJI gimbal centering point facilitates balancing, while a separate centering point for baseplates supports building a balanced rig.

Reinforced corners protect the cage from bumps and damage. The lockable HDMI cable clamp secures connected cables and ensures stable signal transmission. All buttons, control dials, and screen functions remain fully accessible. The cage is also designed for integration with the Nucleus autofocus adapter.

The ergonomically shaped camera grip, combined with the cage grip, follows the natural curve of the palm and offers a special rest for the pinky finger.

The kit includes the Xeno Top Handle and the Xeno Side Handle. Both are mounted via a NATO rail and feature 1/4"-20 connections with positioning pins as well as cold shoe mounts. They provide additional mounting options and improve ergonomics, stability, and control.
