Because the CABLESTAR 100 is a radio adapter that reads the digital radio programs from the cable signal and transmits them to a music system.

The adapter offers an analogue L / R audio output for connection to the system and an electrical-digital audio output (S / PDIF) for high-quality digital transmission. You can save up to nine favorite stations in a favorites list, which you can then call up using the remote control. The CABLESTAR 100 is equipped with a high-quality, 2-line OLED display, which impresses with its high brightness and first-class contrast. This means that the display can be easily read at any time and from almost any angle.

The equipment with the RDS radio text display is outstanding. Additional information is transmitted with radio text and shown on the display, such as B. the station name, the title of the program, title and artist of the current piece of music and so on.
