This pet cap is larger than a standard cat flap and therefore ideal for larger cats such as Main Coons and smaller breeds such as terriers. Program up to 32 animals with an implanted microchip or the SureFlap RFID collar tag and provide controlled input and output with the programmable electronic shutter. As your pet approaches the pet door, the device scans and detects the microchip or collar tag. Strange animals can not penetrate, because the flap only opens for the animals you have stored. This will make your home a safe and secure environment for your pet, allowing it to lead a happier, more relaxed life. The cat flap is battery operated and can be installed in doors, glass and walls.

Commissioning and functions

Using the SureFlap pet flap could not be easier. Once the device is mounted and the batteries are inserted, the flap can be put into programming mode. Long battery life

The cat flap is battery operated and requires 4 C-cell batteries, which are not included. The battery life is at least 6 months. If the battery is low, this will indicate the unit via a low battery indicator.

The presence of a metal plate in a door can affect the performance of the SureFlap pet door so as to reduce the reach of the chip reader. This concerns, for example, the following types of doors: doors with metal door leaf, security doors, metal garage doors, metal doors with hard PVC coating.
