Sony LA-EA5 E-mount FullFrame adapter

The LA-EA5 35-millimeter full-frame adapter for A-mount lenses makes it easy to combine modern Sony E-mount cameras with A-mount lenses. This allows photographers to use the latest autofocus and high-speed shooting functions of current models with an E-mount bayonet mount even when using A-mount SSM (Super Sonic Wave Motor) or SAM (Smooth Autofocus Motor) lenses or A-mount lenses without an integrated focus motor. With the latest firmware, focal plane phase detection AF is supported when using SSM/SAM lenses on the following cameras: Alpha 7 III, Alpha 7R III, Alpha 7R IV, Alpha 6100, Alpha 6400, Alpha 6600, Alpha 9, Alpha 9 II, and Alpha 7S III. When using lenses without a built-in focus motor, focal plane phase detection AF is supported on the Alpha 7R IV and Alpha 6600. STF lenses can only be focused manually.
