Sony VG-C4EM battery grip for Sony ILCE7S3M Alpha 7S M3 & Sony Alpha 7R IV

Simple operation in portrait format
The VG-C4EM offers almost the same controls as the camera body. The placement, size and shape of the buttons have been optimized. They are made of the same material that is used on the body of the 7R IV. As a result, the function, arrangement and feel are similar to operation in portrait format via the camera body.

Firm and secure grip
The ingenious design of the grip ensures that the camera lies securely in the hand. The vertical grip allows you to take photos comfortably at all times, whether in portrait or landscape format. This allows you to concentrate fully on the subject and composition.

Effective runtime doubled
The VG-C4EM can hold up to two NP-FZ100 batteries. If two batteries are used instead of one, the camera will run for around twice as long. The remaining battery power is shown in 1% increments on the LCD display. If one of the batteries is exhausted, the camera automatically uses the second one to ensure uninterrupted operation.

Reliable protection against dust and moisture
The camera handle is made of the same sealing material as the camera housing to keep out dust and moisture. This increases the reliability of the entire camera system.

Charging the battery or power supply via USB
The batteries in the vertical grip can be charged via the camera's USB port without having to remove the grip from the camera. If the recording takes longer, a mobile battery or a mains adapter can be connected via the USB port of the camera1 to provide additional power.

Lightweight yet sturdy magnesium alloy body
The outer material of the VG-C4EM is made of the same robust magnesium alloy as the body of the ?7R IV. This keeps the weight and size to a minimum.

Note
The use of this accessory in combination with the LA-EA2/EA4 adapter mount is not supported. If both are used at the same time, it is difficult to hold the grip due to the narrow gap between the accessory and the lens adapter mount.
