Description

Pre-assembled, shielded Category 8 network cable with shielded RJ-45 connectors on both ends, supporting data rates up to 40 gigabits per second. Suitable as patch cables in patch panels or as device connection cables, designed for LAN applications.

Pre-assembled shielded twisted-pair patch cable
With shielded RJ-45 connectors on both ends
For use in 40-Gigabit Ethernet networks
Slim design: small cable outer diameter of only 3.8 ± 0.2 mm
Molded strain relief
Cat.8.1 (=Cat.8 Class I), suitable for 10 to 40 Gbit/s
Impedance: 100 Ohms
Pin assignment: 1:1 according to EIA/TIA568, 8 wires
Construction: 8 stranded wires, pairwise shielding with aluminum-coated polyester foil
Gold-plated contacts
Halogen-free, flame-retardant, low smoke (LS0H)

Category 8, the standard for next-generation twisted-pair cabling, enables up to four times faster data transmission over the same cabling type and supports 25GBASE-T and 40GBASE-T applications for short distances. Our Cat.8 cables are all halogen-free and flame-retardant (LSOH).
