Highly sensitive thermal imaging sensor with 640x480 pixels made in Europe
Lynred's ultra-sensitive thermal imaging sensor with a NETD value of <18 mK sets an industry record and ensures impressive thermal image quality and perfect detail detection even in the most challenging weather conditions when thermal contrast is low. The smallest temperature differences become clearly visible and recognizable in rain, fog or cold mornings, i.e. under the most difficult conditions for the thermal imaging camera.
Advanced algorithms: Pulsar Image Boost technology
Pulsar Image Boost gives the Telos thermal imaging camera the highest level of detail, clarity and contrast with a range of original image processing algorithms. Telos thermal imaging monoculars render complex scenes in a wide range of halftones with evenly glowing, low-contrast objects such as sky, grass and water surfaces. Software detailing and sharpening of objects at different distances makes the thermal image very rich in information. Manually increasing the sensitivity of the thermal image sensor improves the quality of animal detection when observation conditions deteriorate. A smoothing filter and a wide range of brightness and contrast settings in 20 levels allow comfortable observation over a longer period of time.
New zoom and focus control directly on the lens ring
Ergonomics and haptics play a major role in the new Telos series. As a new feature, the zoom and focus of the lens can be infinitely adjusted practically via two adjustment rings mounted one behind the other, as is the case with high-quality, professional camera lenses. This allows quick and precise adjustment for a clear, detailed and sharp image at the desired magnification level. As the settings can be made with one hand, both left and right-handed users will quickly become familiar with the Telos.
Precise laser distances of up to 1000 m
Correctly estimating the distance to the target is a key factor in making the right decisions. A built-in laser rangefinder with a range of up to 1 kilometer enables distance measurements in single measurement and continuous measurement mode (scan mode) with an accuracy of ± 1 meter for fast and error-free distance estimation.
Retrofittable instrument
The development of thermal imaging devices is subject to dynamic development. The requirements and wishes of the user can also change during use of the device. To take this into account, Pulsar has designed the Telos series as an open system, which can be upgraded in the factory to meet new, higher requirements. For example, the sensor, the screen or components such as the laser distance meter can be retrofitted at a later date if required.
