The Protection Group Danmark ballistic protection plate U-Line can be used as a stand-alone protection plate, so you do not need soft ballistics. The plate is shaped to fit comfortably on the chest and abdomen.

The protection plate is made from a large piece of monolithic SIC ceramic. This is the lightest yet strongest ceramic that PGD offers for NIJ Level 4 only.

In addition, the use of monolithic SIC ceramic also provides the ability to create an edge-to-edge ceramic so that the ceramic covers the entire front of the plate.

DEVELOPED FOR EXTREME ENVIRONMENTS

PGD's ESAPI plate U-Line is designed to perform well in extreme environments where it is either very hot or very cold. For this reason, the plate is very popular with soldiers deployed in the Middle East, for example.

Although water and oil on the plate are not lethal to your body, a PGD U-Line protective plate is sealed with a water-repellent Cordura cover. This means that your ESAPI plate can and will extend its shelf life.
