Additionally, you can focus and shape the light by sliding the umbrella shaft in the holder forward or backward. The Translucent Umbrella is positioned between the subject and the light source. It reduces contrast and creates a diffuse, soft light. Through umbrellas are therefore ideal when you are very close to your subject and need soft light.
