Activated carbon block water filter Pentek CBR2-10
Filtration with activated carbon:
Activated carbon has a large surface area that is used as an adsorbent in, among other things, chemistry, medicine and water and wastewater treatment. It primarily removes unwanted color, taste and odor substances from gases, vapors and liquids.
Equipment filter paron:
Carbon monoblock with an absolute filter fineness of 0.5 µm.
High protection against contamination such as heavy metals, lime, rust, sand and suspended particles, as well as chlorine and unpleasant smells.
Manufacturer: PENTEK / Pentair Water
Filter fineness: 0.5 µm
Flow: very high flow
Temperature: 4.4 ° C to 73.9 ° C
Length: 10 "
NSF standard 53
For technical reasons, use only with cold water. Protect from frost.
Filter change:
The filter cartridge must be changed after 6 months (according to DIN 1988).
In principle, 10,000 liters of water can be filtered within the 6 months.
However, it may need to be changed earlier if the water flow is noticeably reduced.
An early change is not a defect in the filter used, but an indication of the increased occurrence of fine particles in the unfiltered water.
With every filter change, the flat seals of the cartridges are changed (always included in the package of replacement cartridges). This ensures perfect sealing and functionality at all times. Any biofilm contamination is also removed.
