Pentax -DA smc 18-270mm f / 3.5-6.3 ED SDM Compact, fast lens- 15x zoom from 28 to 414 mm
- SDM autofocus drive
- Two ED glasses for improved image quality
- Rounded apertures for fine bokeh
The Pentax smc DA 18-270 mm f / 3.5 ~ 6.3 ED SDM covers the enormous focal length range from 27.5 to 414 mm. Thanks to the practical coverage from wide-angle to super-telephoto, it is ideally suited as a universal everyday lens and as a powerful travel companion.
Super fast ultrasonic motor (SDM)
Thanks to the built-in ultrasonic motor, the lens focuses very precisely, but works extremely gently, almost inaudibly, and very quickly. When using an SDM-compatible camera with a Pentax K bayonet, the SDM autofocus is automatically activated to ensure smooth autofocus operation.
Round aperture
The seven lamellas of the cover are shaped so that the opening is not polygonal but always perfectly round. Contours and light effects appear very harmonious outside the plane of focus, point light sources are depicted free of streaks. In addition, the DA 18-270 mm f / 3.5 ~ 6.3 ED SDM draws a perfect, soft bokeh.
Shake-free recordings even in difficult light situations
Even in unfavorable lighting conditions, such as indoors, overcast skies or at dusk, the large aperture enables short shutter speeds and thus blur-free images even without a conspicuous flash or complex additional lighting.
