MIDI - Notebooks
The inspiration for the Baroque motif was the 1725 cover of the Decameron by Giovanni Boccaccio. He was an Italian writer, poet, and a founder of Renaissance humanism. With a range from comedic to tragic and a vivid narrative style, the Decameron still represents humanity and morality today.
