Whether you are watching birds or wild animals, you will benefit from a large field of view and high optical performance. The Monarch HG 8x42 delivers superb sharpness to the edges of the picture thanks to the image field flattening system and ED glass with a very low dispersion. The dielectric multilayer reflective coating of the prism and the high-quality multi-layer coating also ensure excellent brightness, color accuracy and detail detail. The slim design is robust and durable thanks to the magnesium alloy used, yet compact and lightweight. This waterproof and fog-free binoculars is ideal for all outdoor activities.
First class optical performance
Thanks to the large field of view, you can see landscapes more quickly. The image flattening lens system gives you a sharp, clear view to the edge of the picture. The ED glass with particularly low dispersion corrects chromatic aberration and provides a contrast-rich, high-resolution and color-diffuse image. All lenses and prisms are provided with a high-quality multi-layer coating. A dielectric, highly reflective multi-layer mirror coating is additionally applied to the roof edge prism in order to intensify the light reflection. This combination creates an exceptionally bright image with a light transmittance of up to 92% or more.
Slim, lightweight and robust design
The stylish Monarch HG not only looks good, but is also compact and light, making it an ideal companion. The housing made of a magnesium alloy is at the same time robust and light. The scratch-resistant lens coating allows you a long, care-free use of the binoculars without compromising quality.
Optimized for all outdoor activities
Thanks to the nitrogen filling, the case is waterproof even when immersed in up to 5 m deep water for up to 10 minutes. A fogging of the optical system is prevented even in low pressure environments at an altitude of up to 5000 meters so that you have a clear view with the Monarch HG in every situation. In addition, the Monarch HG has integrated lens caps that can not be lost.
High visual comfort also for spectacle wearers
The large distance of the exit pupil also ensures a clear field of view for spectacle wearers and the flexible rubber eyepiece closure facilitates correct alignment of your eyes at the exit pupil. A locking system for the diopter adjustment wheel prevents accidental rotation so that the binoculars always remain adjusted to your eyes and optimally adjusted to your vision requirements. With an optional adapter, you can even mount the binoculars on a tripod for a longer period of time.
