"Microfilter" is the world's leading refrigerator filter manufacturer. Its customers include major electronics manufacturers such as "Samsu..." and "L." During production, each filter is tested for leaks with compressed air! The water filter is made of high-quality and food-safe materials. It has certificates from the NSF authority and the FDA (Food and Drug Administration), among others.

The connections are so-called (Quick Connect Fittings). These have already been built into the cartridge during manufacture. The hose ends only need to be inserted into the filter openings as far as they will go. The closures secure automatically and replacement takes just a few seconds.

Filtration in 2 stages:

This water filter is not just filled with activated carbon like most filters but consists of 2 filtration stages.
-First stage sediment filter up to 5µm micron (anything larger than 5 thousandths of a millimeter) against suspended particles and micro-sediments such as rust, sand, lime particles, etc.
-The second stage is activated carbon made from real coconut shells, which removes mechanical impurities, chlorine, pesticides, heavy metals and many organic chemicals. The water filter thus positively enhances the taste, which you can not only smell and taste, but also see.

This filter is suitable for all refrigerator models that have an external water filter. The external water filters are installed between the 1/4 inch plastic hose (6mm diameter) that is connected to the cold water pipe.

Filter change

According to the appliance manufacturer's recommendation, you should always replace the water filter when:
-the corresponding warning light on your refrigerator lights up (depending on the model),
-the refrigerator has not been used for a long time,
-if the water develops an odor or becomes cloudy,
-or, to be on the safe side, every 6 months at the latest according to the TwVo, even if the filter has a higher capacity!
