The coffee grounds are placed in the dosing funnel, the lid is put on, and then it is important to shake the dosing funnel well. Shaking efficiently breaks up any coffee clumps. Next, the dosing funnel is placed on the portafilter and filled evenly with coffee grounds.

The dosing funnel fits perfectly on 51 - 54 mm portafilters.
