The LOCTITE thread sealant is a versatile solution for sealing threaded connections made of metal and plastic. It is suitable for use in drinking water (hot and cold) and gas installations. The sealing occurs immediately upon installation, regardless of the ambient temperature. Adjustment by 45° remains possible. The practical dispenser box allows for quick and clean work. The product is solvent-free and resistant to heat, cold, chemicals, gas, water, and steam. It provides a gas-tight and pressure-resistant connection. The KTW-D2 approval confirms its suitability for drinking water up to 85°C. Additionally, the thread sealant has NSF certification according to Standard 61, DVGW certification for gas and water, and WRAS certification for plastics in contact with drinking water.
