Border Terriers are small dogs with cute otter-like heads. They have a double coat that consists of a soft, thick undercoat and a wiry top coat. They don't shed too much, but weekly brushing is very important to keep their coat in good condition. They have a short tail that is held very high when they are excited. They were originally bred to help Foxhounds hunt, as they are lively and alert dogs. Today, they are the perfect furry friend instead!&nbsp
