The SMARTOSCOPE VARIO II is a consistently developed version of an already excellent digiscoping adapter. The new generation impresses with an optimized design, significantly reduced weight, and even greater stability, making it ideal for demanding nature observers and photographers. The high-quality universal smartphone adapter is compatible with most smartphone models and allows for quick connection to Kowa eyepiece rings and the SMARTOSCOPE UR 4 universal eyepiece ring, thanks to the K30 optical arm. When combined with the universal eyepiece ring, the adapter can be attached to a variety of eyepieces, including those from manufacturers outside the Kowa product range. The optical arm aligns the camera precisely with the eyepiece of your spotting scope, ensuring optimal image transmission. For the VARIO II version, the base material has been changed from aluminum to high-quality polyoxymethylene POM C. This reduces the weight of the adapter without the adapter ring to approximately 117 g instead of the previous 156 g, providing even more comfortable handling in use. Additionally, an integrated rubber disc at the contact surface of the optical arm increases stability, minimizes unintended movements, and noticeably improves handling. The adjustable clamp is suitable for small and large smartphones, even with protective cases. Anti-slip and anti-friction elements enable scratch-free mounting and a secure fit.
