Suikoden
was released in 1995 as game software for the PlayStation. Based on the motif of the classic Chinese novel Water Margin, this is the first title in the iconic KONAMI role-playing game series depicting the fate of the bearers of the True Runes of the Scarlet Moon. The story follows the protagonist, whose father is one of the Empire's five generals, as he gathers his 108 Stars of Destiny and his friends to fight against the Empire's oppressive rule to ruin.

The touching story depicting the bonds between family and friends has been highly acclaimed worldwide.

The unique Suikoden system, including rune magic and the 108 Stars of Destiny to recruit, has been carried over from subsequent titles in the series. Other features include home base management, which boosts the power and bases of your army, and army battles, which pit armies against each other. The game also features a challenging game system that complements the grandeur of the story.

Suikoden II
This is the second title in the Suikoden series, released in 1998. Set three years after the first game, the sequel to the series continues to develop the unique game systems of Suikoden, such as the rune magic, the 108 Stars of Destiny, home base management and army battles that were well received in the previous game. Three childhood friends, including the protagonist, are tossed to and fro by a great whirlpool of fate. The story, with its detailed psychological portrayal of each character, has moved many fans and has become an iconic title in the Suikoden series.

The Suikoden series began its journey in 1995 and quickly became popular as the first title in KONAMI's original RPG series. Suikoden I&II HD Remaster Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars aims to preserve the original story and charm of the colorful characters. • Graphical improvements
• Pixel sprites and environmental graphics with new screen effects such as light, cloud and shadow animations Flickering flames, smoldering smoke, the movement of leaves and insects - all of which create a lively atmosphere in the game!
• The effects and direction have been redesigned to bring memorable scenes to life in an even more beautiful way!
• New character drawings
• All character portraits have been updated in HD. Junko Kawano, who designed the characters for the original version of Suikoden released in 1995, has redrawn all the character portraits for Suikoden I HD Remaster Gate Rune War.
• Sound enhancements
• Ambient Sounds - A large number of ambient sounds that were not present in the original version, such as the sound of running water in a river, wind, insects and running footsteps, have been added. So you can enjoy an unprecedented gaming experience!
• Battle Sound - All sound effects are now in HD. In addition to the 3D effects, the realistic sound enhances the dynamics of the battles!
