Hoya 55.0 HD UV(0) Filter

The Hoya HD(0) UV filter blocks unwanted ultraviolet rays, reduces haze, and enhances clarity. Additionally, the UV filter serves very well as a protective glass for the lens. The filter features ultra-clear, high-transparency UV-cut glass that has been chemically enhanced and is 4x stronger than regular protective glass. The HD coating consists of 16 layers on both sides, along with an anti-reflective multi-coating. Furthermore, the filter is water and oil repellent, as well as scratch and dirt resistant. Thanks to the ultra-thin HD frame, the filter is compatible with wide-angle lenses. The frame has been mounted around the glass using a high-pressure pressing technique.
