Hoya 52.0 UX II UV Filter

The UX II UV filter with water-repellent coating is a new development of the HMC UV(C) filter and has now been integrated into the new standard class of the UX II series alongside the UX II CIR-PL filter. The UX II UV filter is aimed at entry-level users and offers high quality standards as well as essential and contemporary features. The filter has been completely redesigned. Although UV rays are not visible to the naked eye, they can affect images taken in locations such as the sea or mountains, leading to blurry outlines or pale, whitish images. UV filters suppress the UV spectrum present in daylight, which mainly has negative effects on images. This filter can be used with both film and digital cameras, ensuring more vibrant images. Additionally, it serves as daily protection for the lens when left attached. Thanks to the water-repellent coating, the UX II UV filter is particularly suited to repel unwanted water droplets or dirt, thus enabling clear and clean shots.
