The Level 7 Winter Jacket in the color Black is a final, outer insulation layer for use in extremely cold weather. The Climashield® Apex™ insulation keeps the user warm in all conditions. The LVL7 jacket can be worn with all layers of the lower levels (according to ECWCS): Base Layers 1 & 2, fleece, shells, etc. The insulation is hydrophobic and dries quickly when wet. The outer nylon shell protects the insulation from wind and water while allowing it to breathe. The collar houses the spacious hood, which is adjustable with drawstrings that are accessible from the chest pockets. The hood pocket has a two-way zipper. This is important to allow access to the hood without having to remove heavy gloves. The soft fleece lining of the hood increases comfort and protects against abrasions. Two fleece-lined chest pockets protect hands from chilblains. Large side pockets with zippers allow access even with heavy mittens. The Level 7 jacket can be easily compressed without losing its insulating properties. The Level 7 is available in different colors to suit the area of use - both outdoors and in urban areas.
