ECO SMART® Brazing Green Paste ESF500PG is an environmentally friendly high-temperature flux in paste form for brazing applications on steel, stainless steel, Monel, nickel, copper, brass, bronze, and other iron-containing metals. The special formulation is designed for long heating cycles and highly localized heat exposure, such as in induction brazing, and extends the effectiveness of the flux even under high thermal stress. The very high fluidity allows for reliable penetration into the tightest solder gaps and supports uniform wetting of the joining surfaces. The flux is not subject to recrystallization and remains homogeneous and easy to process during use. ECO SMART® contains neither boric acid nor sodium borates, thus meeting the requirements of the EU REACH regulation according to Article 57(c) as well as the RoHS directive. An integrated color change technology indicates the optimal time for use during heating. Residues must be completely removed after the soldering process and can be eliminated if necessary with suitable chemical cleaning agents.
