The new IP power sockets effectively reduce the power consumption of the installation: collective switching off of
devices, even in standby mode, as well as integrated energy meters contribute to sustainable operation of the infrastructure.
In addition, the operator receives warning messages when fault currents occur. This enables preventive maintenance measures before downtime occurs.
The PDUs feature 4, 8, or 12 load outputs (IEC C13 or Schuko) on the back. This allows connected devices to be switched off and on in case of faults. This is also possible via media controllers and DCIM solutions. Defined threshold values also ensure that event-based switching operations can be initiated.
Two integrated sensor ports for optionally available sensors allow monitoring of ambient temperature, humidity, and air pressure. System-critical conditions are thus detected early. Thanks to hot-pluggable sensors, commissioning with the Expert Power Control series is quick.
