The Fiskars X36 splitting axe with L-blade (head length 18cm) is masterfully balanced to optimize swing speed and enhance the applied force. It is ideal for splitting firewood, for large logs and trunk pieces with a diameter of more than 30cm. The innovative, ultra-sharp blade made of forged steel is designed to cut through wood more effectively and is double-hardened to maintain the sharpness of the precision-ground edge. The special blade design with a wider blade and a splitting wedge provides more power and makes it easier to pull the blade out of the wood. The friction-reducing coating helps the blade glide through the wood after the strike and offers additional rust protection. The molded axe head ensures an inseparable connection with the handle. The practically unbreakable design of the X-series X36 splitting axe features a lightweight, remarkably sturdy FiberComp handle that absorbs shocks and provides excellent impact protection. The ergonomically curved handle also has an oversized grip zone made of strategically structured SoftGrip and a hook-shaped end for a secure hold before, during, and after the swing. The included blade guard protects the blade and the user during storage and transport.
