Description

The Forstner bit Neo Classic is suitable for clean, tear-free drilling in softwood and glued laminated timber. The improved design of the traditional Forstner bit combines a centering tip with two main cutting edges and an adapted geometry of the peripheral cutting edges. The offset peripheral cutting edge reduces friction during drilling. The Forstner bit Neo Classic is especially suitable for freehand operation with a handheld drill. The triangular shank supports better power transmission. For hardwood, the Bormax® WS series 1622 or the HM-Bormax³ series 1663 are recommended.
