Sharpener - adjustable
In the early 1950s, DUX developed a sharpener that allows the sharpness of the pencil tip to be adjusted in three different ways. A knurled knob located at the end of the sharpener enables settings for three different pencil tips. The knob clicks into place audibly and tangibly when turned. Depending on the setting, it allows the pencil to penetrate more or less deeply into the sharpener. The precisely defined angle between the cone and the blade then results in the desired tip.
