LSZH stands for "Low Smoke Zero Halogen". Another name is: LSFOH = Low Smoke Free of Halogen. These designations are used in wiring technology for the classification of the cable material. It is about the behavior of thermoplastic materials in case of fire to the flammability respekitve the flame retardancy of the jacket material of transmission cables. Low smoke means that the cable material produces little smoke in the event of a fire, and zero halogen means that it is halogen-free. In case of fire, such a cable thus releases no corrosive substances or corrosive acids. RoHS compliant. Tests: ENEC 10, VDE.
