The Fairtrade and organic certified Baraza coffee is grown in Tanzania. To be more precise, west of Lake Victoria from the claro smallholder cooperative Kagera Cooperative (KCU). Gently freeze-dried, this instant coffee unfolds its wonderful aroma when it is poured.

The claro company has been actively helping to shape fair trade since 1977. Food, textiles and handicrafts are sourced from long-term claro partners in the south - once called third world countries. The trading partners are small producers from peripheral areas and produce high quality products in a socially and ecologically sustainable way. Claro promotes biodiversity in small-scale agriculture and supports social projects with its activities. For the products of its partners in the south, claro fair trade opens sales channels in the countries of the north. Whenever possible, trading takes place directly, in long-term relationships, and sales in personal, manageable structures. This creates a relationship of trust between the producers there and the consumers here.
