Carbonit IFP Select 9 water filter

The IFP Select combines the special properties of a sintered CARBONIT® monoblock with a microfiltration of 10 µm through the internal Ster-O-Tap® capillary membrane. Even high loads that could accumulate in the organism are reliably removed and stored. The IFP Select type filter cartridges are ideal for low line pressure and enable bacterial loads to be limited. The Ster-O-Tap® capillary membrane has been tested according to ANSI / NSF Standard 53 (Cyst and Turbidity Reduction).

The filter cartridge must be changed after 6 months (according to DIN 1988). Basically, 5,000 liters of water can be filtered within the 6 months. However, it may need to be changed earlier if the water flow is noticeably reduced. An early change is not a defect in the filter used, but an indication of the increased occurrence of fine particles in the unfiltered water.
