The extremely fast flash recharge time of just about 0.1-0.9 seconds allows for up to 170 full-power flash bursts. Additionally, high-speed continuous shooting at lower power levels is possible. The powerful LP-EL battery ensures an incredibly fast trigger speed. With a single charge, you can expect up to 2,380 flash shots. Furthermore, the flash unit offers the same dust and water resistance as our L series lenses. An active cooling system prevents overheating, allowing for much longer flash sequences. The Speedlite EL-1 (Version 2) can be triggered both wirelessly and optically, so you can illuminate your subject as needed. With the built-in dual-color LED assist light, you can see where and how the Speedlite EL-1 (Version 2) hits your subject. There’s also a preview of where the shadows will fall.
